Utility Interactive Inverter Controllable for Wide Range of DC Input Voltage

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the distributed electric-power-genration system using new energy sources has attracted much attention. Since this distributed generation system links to a commercial source, a utility interactive inverter is required. We propose a double-bridge(DB)inverter which can operate for the wide range of DC input voltage. In this DB inverter, the first-stage bridge circuit can operate at the voltage boost and the voltage buck modes independently. Therfor, the proposed DB inverter has a characteristic of buck-boost operation, and can regulate the output voltage for the wide range of DC input voltage. Furthermore, we analyze the operation mechanism of the DB inverter, and confirm its result by simulation.
