Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lithium Ion Battery has useful electrical and physical performances such as light weight, high energy density, good charge/discharge cycle characteristics and so on. This battery is used as a power supply for a mobile communication electronics and a personal computer because of its useful performance. These performances are also valid for an electrical power system on satellite. This paper reports the results of applicability study of lithium ion battery to a satellite electrical power system.
