Abstract(in English) The piezoelectric transformer has superior characteristics such as compact size, high voltage gain, high power density, and so on. Three types of inverters with one switch or two switches are presented as drive circuits for piezoelectric transformer. The purpose of the paper is to examine and to compare performance characteristics of these drive circuits theoretically and experimetnally and also a drive circuit suitable for backl-light system is chosen.
