Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is quite rare for soft switching power supply using voltage resonant converter that operates with commercial voltage to be practical. But recently we can expect to have higher switching frequency that will make smaller, lighter, high efficiency because of the improvement characteristics of high voltage switch components. To achieve more high output load power we developed a complex resonant type converter circuit which are combination of the primary voltage resonant converter and the secondary voltage or current resonant circuit. The complex resonant type converter is made from orthogonal transformer that complex controls both switching trequency control and pulse width modulation control. We got good results of increasing efficiency, output load power and physically smaller and lighter than usual.
