A Study of Harmonic Elimination Using PWM Converter

Abstract(in English) Line-current harmonics generated by semiconductor power converters and other nonlinear loads in power systems have harmful influence on the power systems. This paper proposed a new harmonic elimination system using PWM converter power systems. The converter in the system not only has higher power factor but can compensate the harmonic current generated by other loads as well. The results of both simulation and experience show that the proposed system eliminates the line-current harmonics very well.
