Abstract(in English) Generally, Tap-changer of transformer apply to ac Voltage Regulator.This Tap-Changer uses power-saving system for a illumination implement.But, it has week point that is output characteristic.While, there is an ac chopper to solve the above week points.But the ac shopper does not use for practical use, because it has some problems that needs bilateral switch and ac snubber.Then, the authors had developed a Multi-function Power Supply (MPS) that based on ac chopper technology.The MPS is able to regulate output voltage by PWM and does not use bilateral swich and ac snubber.This paper describe circuit operation of MPS and experimental results of the Series Voltage Regulator using MPS.
