| Abstract(in English) | Recently, international movements for protection of global environments have been promoted. The lower distortion by power supply harmonic wave, energy saving and lower radio noise are strongly required for the electronic equipments as the need of ages. In this paper, the performance which is needed for power ICs to realize such a requirement are described. As the application examples of Power ICS, switching mode power supply with a power factor correction circuit, current resonant swiching mode power supply and electronic ballast IC for fluorescent lamps and HID lamps are described also. |
