Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A conductor-embedded-type planar transformer, height of 3mm, using g fine grained Mn-Zn ferrite was fabricated for developing the low-profile and high density power supplies. The fabricated transformer shows the high efficiency of 94-95% in the output power of 5.7-24.5W at a input voltage of 80V under a sinusoidal wave at 1MHz. The high efficiency is presumably contributed to using the fine grained Mn-Zn ferrite with low core losses at 1MHz and adopting the conductor-embedded-type structure, in which uniform flux density in the core and current density in the conductor.
