Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An interleaving technique for critical mode switching converters (CMSCs) is presented. CMSCs have low noise in high frequency, however, large operating current, so a lot of ripple current flows in input and output capacitors. Conventional interleaving techniques had never been applied to CMSCs, because CMSCs' switching frequency varies according to input and output conditions. The presented interleaving technique is applicable to the converters whose switching frequency are variable. This paper describes this technique and operation, and application to a parallel connection of two boost converters.
