Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Medical infrared image monitors the surface temperature of human body. The image shows physiological information of the human body and it can be used in a variety of medical fields. One of the applications is to monitor the arm's skin temperature continuously during intravenous drip injection by use of a high-resolution infrared camera (Nikon Thermal Vision LAIRD3A). For extracting and analyzing the data from the same location of the infrared motion image sequences, this study tried to remove translational motion, rotation and fluctuation of the arm on an image plane. We introduced a structure matching method and a pixel-based low-pass filtering to remove an oscillatory motion of the compensated image sequences.
