| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a improved method of automatic lung cancer detection in computer-aided diagnosis used for the Lung cancer Screening by CT(LSCT). First, shadow candidates detected with our Variable N-Quoit filter are classified according to those sizes and positions. Then cancer shadows are distinguished from normal ones using the discriminant function derived from feature analysis. As a result, the number of false-negatives and false-positives are reduced successfully. |
