Lung Volumetry using Computer Tomgrahy Images

Abstract(in English) Purpose:Development of computer assisted lung volumetry using CT images Method:Lung CT images were processed gray scale images to monochrome images. Lung field in CT images were segmented using classification method on histogram. Volume of lung fields was consist of addition of volume of between each mages. Result:Lung volume calculated from 3mm CT images was different from 10mm images. The difference was 0.8% and 4.7%. Vital capacity calculated from CT images was also different from the data from spirometer. The difference was 40% and 60%.
