Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose that the derivation of rigid-body tracking accuracy in 3-D position sensor-based system. Accuracy of the rigid-body tracking is affected by the layout of the IRLED marker attached to the rigid-body. Thus, it is significant to estimate the accuracy from the marker layout for the system design. The proposed method derives the angle error equations of the rigid-body from the marker error. It assumes that the measurement error of each marker is followed a normal distribution and independent each other. We show effectiveness of our method;the theoretical value corresponded with the numerically generated value within 3% of the accuracy, and correlated with the actually measured value.
