Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to develop a Computer-aided Diagnosis(CAD) system on breast 3D ultrasonograms. The CAD scheme consists of the following three steps:(1)Extraction of masses resion by using morphology filter, (2)Extraction of features for classication, and(3)3D imaging for CAD output. As a fundamental study, we developed a classification method based on feature extraction. In this method, the degree of malignancy was determined by extracting some feature values from 3D image based on interpreting criteria for classifying malignant tumors. The crassification performance was approximately 70%.
