Abstract(in English) We have been developing a CAD(computer-aided diagnosis) system for detection of masses and clustered microcalcifications on mammograms. In this study, we examined our system's performance with mammograms taken at several different facilities. The result indicates that our algorithm for microcalcifications is relatively robust. It is important for very difficult mass cases to obtain images with adequate contrast between normal tissue and abnormal shadow.
