| Abstract(in English) | We have been developing an automated detection algorithm for mass candidates on mammograms. To improve the detection performance, we modified methods of eliminating false-positive candidates based on neighboring decision. As a result, the number of false-positive candidates decreased from 1.01 to 0.88 per image on 1774 digitized clinical mammograms by using our up-to-date algorithm without any decreasing of true-positive fraction. |
