Abstract(in English) Constrictive Pericarditis(CP) is characterized by thickening or adhesion of pericardium that results in restriction of the shear movement between epicardium and pericardium. Diagnosis of CP has been based on abnormality of pericardial morphology or right ventricular pressure. However, these abnormalities are indirect proofs of CP because they don't clarify restricted myocardial motion. The purpose of this study is to develop a tool for diagnosis of CP using MR tagging imaging which can assess the restriction directly. Analyzed data sets show clear difference between a normal volunteer and a CP patient.
