Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Fluorescent x-ray image and Compton scattering image for the object are obtained simultaneously by fluorescent x-ray computed tomography(CT). Fluorescent x-ray CT(FXCT) image can reveal the distribution of the specific elements, whereas, Compton scattering CT(CSCT) image demonstrates the distribution of the electronic density of objects as transmission x-ray CT(TXCT). CSCT image with morphological information is useful for understanding the functional information obtained by FXCT image. FXCT image can be superposed on CSCT image without special registration procedure because both data are obtained simultaneously at the same position. Phantom and rat's heart were imaged to confirm above assumption. In addition, CSCT and TXCT were compared on image quality. It was confirmed that CSCT was useful enough for understanding position information of tracer materials, although signal to noise ratio of CSCT was worse than that of TXCT because of not optimal detector position.
