| Abstract(in English) | Information technologies have been developing surprisingly. These techniques influence Japanese economy, we are expecting that IT is very important techniques for recovery of Japanese economic. In the medical information field, IT is also very important. CT, CR or MRIs are utilized in a hospital. These digital images are sent to PACS or image viewer over hospital LAN. Radiological images and patient information are sent to cooperative hospitals over high-speed network. Doctors are able to read these images simultaneously in the both separated hospitals. So, we have to develop inexpensive network service, user-friendly terminals and medical IT experimental network service. This paper describes recent high-speed network techniques and network-based medical information systems. |
