| 抄録(和) | 生体の移動運動における生物性の知覚を可能にする運動情報を明らかにするために、生物の移動運動、無生物の重力による運動とそれに対するはね返り運動をパソコンに取り込み、対象の特定部位の運動だけを抽出して単一物体の運動刺激をコンピュータアニメーションとして作成した。さらにこのアニメーションに、動きを逆転あるいは滑らかにするなどの操作を加えて、26の刺激運動事象を作成し、女子短大生45名にそれらに対する生物性・無生物性の7段階印象評定を求めた。その結果、第1に、実際の生物の動きはそれが単一物体の運動であっても生物性印象が高いこと、第2に、運動対象の方向変化の角度よりも方向変化の頻度が多い方が生物的印象が強まること、第3に、無生物運動を逆転したときに見られる重力に反する動きは生物的な印象を強めるということが明らかとなった。 |
| 抄録(英) | The purpose of this study was to identify the information with which we perceive animacy or inanimacy from the motion of a single object. 26 animations of single-object motion were made by a personal computer on the basis of various motions extracted from the locomotion of several kinds of animals and insects and the movements of various objects caused by gravity and rebound, which were recorded by a digital video camera. Those animations were presented to 45 women's junior college students who were instructed to rate each animation on a 1-7 scale in terms of animacy. Results showed that motion based on real animal locomotion was judged to be animated motion, and that the reasons for this judgment included many changes in direction of motion, motion against gravity and motion with negative accleration (i.e. motion in which the velocity was faster just after a direction change, then gradually slowed down). |
