Extraction of a Near Vehicle Based on the Position Relation Inter Frames

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the detection method of closer front vehicle on a traffic lane is discussed. Then if preparation of a road infrastructure can come true, extraction of a traffic lane may be more simplified. And we premise that a vehicle can be detected. In experiments using the proposed method, for input image deleted color information of a road, boundary lines can be extracted and the vehicle region is detected by using the horizontal scanning. And we discuss about obtained detection accuracy. Next the prediction method of the dangerous scene based on the variance of vehicle size inter frames is investigated.
