Development Of POI-Information Providing System with Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting

Abstract(in English) We developed a POI (Point Of Interest) information providing system with digital terrestrial broadcasting. Digital terrestrial broadcasting is push-type information delivering system. It is useful for the POI information providing. However, a broadcasting system needs to send the information periodically and the information must be saved into receivers' cache. Receivers cannot acquire the information quickly, and need to check valid term of the information. This paper proposes the following techniques to solve these problems, (1) The technique schedules broadcasting programs based on receivers' interest. (2) The technique manages valid term of the POI information.
