Dynamic Radio Zone Communication System for Road-Vehicle Communication

Abstract(in English) This paper describes a dynamic radio zone system in a road with multiple radio zones combined. The dynamic radio zone system makes it possible to control frequency resources adaptively and also to reduce the numbers of handovers appeared in ITS communication system with continuous radio zones. If the radio zone could move along with vehicles running in the zone at almost the same speed, fewer handovers would be occurred. This paper defines a radio zone with a capability of radio management and zone movement as a dynamic radio zone and presents the characteristics of dynamic radio zone system proposed.
