Abstract(in English) | Placing air holes in a raised-index core, the air holes effectively influence chromatic dispersion because fields are well confined in the core region. A boundary element method based on a formulation in terms of transverse magnetic fields is applied to verify the characteristics of the fiber. It is shown that the fiber exhibits large anomalous dispersion. |
