| 抄録(和) | IP需要の増大化に伴い,中継及び加入系の通信帯域の拡大が必要であり,DWDMを中心に長波長帯(L-band:1565～1625nm)まで使用するようになってきた.光線路試験システムにおいては,標準的な保守波長帯を用いて試験する必要があり,通信光であるL-bandまでを透過し,試験光(1650mm)を遮断する急峻なフィルタが必要である.本稿では,急峻な遮断スペクトルを持つFBGフィルタと4ポートサーキュレータを組み合わせたL-band拡張型光カプラモジュールを用いた光線路試験システムの設計及び評価結果を報告する. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently a L-band extends to 1625 nm has started to be used for WDM transmission, so that the pass-band of the filters must be extended. An attractive way of separating the 1650 rim test light from the L-band light is to use a FBG filter because of its steep optical spectrum. However, it is difficult to measure fiber characteristics with an OTDR when FBG filters are installed at either end of an optical fiber line. This paper describes the design of an optical fiber line testing system for L-band WDM transmission and a new L/U-band optical coupler employing two 4-port circulators and two chirped FBGs. |
