Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A band-rejeotion filter using chirped slanted fiber Bragg Grating has been developed. Its bandwidth was 38nm, rejection was -20dB and maximum back-reflection was below-35dB. Also we investigated origin of Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL) of the filter and proposed two directional UV exposure method to reduce the PDL. As the result, low PDL (<0.3dB) filter was successfully obtained.
