Abstract(in English) We have developed a tunable fiber ring laser by combining an AOTF and an EDFA. In order to obtain stable single-mode oscillation, the frequency shift caused by an AOTF was cancelled by using a two-stage structure. And we inserted a fiber fabry-perot filter in a ring cavity to suppress the side-mode. This tunable laser has many attractive characteristics, such as wide tuning range of more than 40 nm and fast tuning speed of less than 10 ms, so it can be a strong candidate for a WDM transmission source.
