| 抄録(和) | 高速及び高帯域サービスに用いられる光ケーブルネットワークは、急速なIPネットワークの光化により、急速に増大しています。このため、光ケーブルの建設試験及び光ケーブル保守を効率的に行うための試験方法とシステムの要求があります。本稿では、光ケーブルを効率良く保守試験するための地図システムを用いた光ファイバ線路監視システムのシステム構成、各装置と光モジュールの構造を紹介し、光試験装置とファイバセレクタの機能及び特性、地図システムを用いた管理装置の機能とソフトウエアを紹介し、光ケーブルの建設及び保守試験に充分な機能特性を有することを示しながら、地図への障害位置の表示により、光ケーブル保守を効率的に行えることを示します。 |
| 抄録(英) | The accelerating need to serve the IP network with optical fiber infrastructure in order to support higher speed and higher bandwidth communication services has led to a rapid build-up of optical cable networks.Accompanying this rapid network build-up is an indispensable need to ensure that the optical cables have been properly installed and that network operation is reliably maintained through the early detection of faults. Such tasks can be effectively accomplished by an optical fiber monitoring system using an optical time domain reflectometer(OTDR)and incorporating a mapping function to pinpoint fault location on a map. This paper describes the system make-up of such an optical fiber monitoring system, the various component units and modules, functions and features of the component optical test unit and fiber selector, as well as the mapping function and software used in the central management console. |
