| Abstract(in English) | Wavelength spacing is becoming narrower in the wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)systems.We propose and demonstrate multiwavelength fiber lasers with tunable wavelength spacing.A tunable spacing filter consists of polarizers and a PMF. By changing the stress position on the PMF, the spacing can be controlled.We could tune the wavelength spacing of a multiwavelength fiber laser with the erbium doped fiber cooled by liquid nitrogen.We also demonstrate multiwavelength operation at room temperature by using an acousto optic modulator. |
