Abstract(in English) | Polarization-maintaining star couplers in Ti:LiNbO_3 optical waveguides for use in an optical BFN system have been developed. The 9×15 star coupler propagates two fundamental modes, TE-and TM-modes simultaneously. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate good agreement. A transmission efficiency of 50% is achieved at 1.55μm. |
