Abstract(in English) We present a practical 1.3 μm optical fiber amplifier for WDM with laser diode pump. The optical fiber amplifier having two gain blocks, the first gain block with a forward pump and the second one with backward pump, shows the best performance from the point of view the optical pumping efficiency. The gain flatness of less than 1 dB in -30 - -10 dBm input power is achieved by inserting the gain equalizer between two gain blocks. The power penalty of less than 1 dB is experimentally confirmed under the condition of four input wavelength, 50km fiber-line and 2.4 Gbit/s modulation.
