Abstract(in English) In this report, we investigated the origin of group delay ripple in a chirped fiber Bragg grating. Comparing the devices realized with a chirped phase mask method and a mechanical chirping method, we found that the group delay ripples are mainly caused by the phase errors of chirped phase masks.
