Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Low-loss transmission properties were obtained in visible wavelenhgth bands by improving the fabricating parameters of the flowing coating method in the fabrication of cyclic olefin polymer (COP)-coated silver hollow glass fibers for infrared laser light. Delivery properties were evaluated by using pilot beams of visible laser light (red and green light). The brighthness of the output visible light is proved to be sufficient even when the 2m-long, 1mm or 700μm-bore size fibers were bent to the angle of 360°.
