Abstract(in English) | A new concept of the "digital soliton" is proposed. This is obtained from a digital solution of the Nonlinear Schroedinger equation. The digital soliton has a constant pulse waveform with a fixed amplitude due to the digital soliton condition. The digital soliton may be realized by utilizing the nonlinear element and the dispersive element in the transmission circuit. Some examples for the digital soliton are numerically analyzed. The digital soliton proposed here will be very important in the digital transmission systems in the various fields. The fundamental simulation of the digital soliton is reported. |
