100nm bandwidth gain-equalization on Raman amplifiers pumped by multi-channel WDM laser diodes

Abstract(in English) A more than 2 W output power 12-wavelength-channel WDM LD unit, of which wavelengths range from 1405 to 1510 nm, is demonstrated. In order to overcome pump-to-pump energy transfer, the pump energy is asymmetrically allocated. In all of a 25 km SMF, a 25km DSF, and a 20 km RDF, the 100 nm bandwidth with ±0.5 dB variation is obtained at 2 dB gain for SMF and 6.5 dB for DSF and RDF, respectively.
