Abstract(in English) The optimum design of the arrayed waveguide grating devices on the lithium niobate crystal for the multiplexer and demultiplexer for the optical wavelength-division multiplex communication systems.The optimum configurations, the wavelength resolution, the crosstalk between the adjacent channels and several problems due to the birefringence of the lithium niobate crystal are discussed.
