Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe a stable lightwave synthesized frequency sweeper using a Fabry-Perot cavity composed of two Faraday rotator mirrors. By placing a polarizer in one of FRMs, the instability of the frequency sweep span of the LSFS is suppressed and the states of polarization of output pulses become consistent. We clarify its good stability in the span by means of numerical simulations and experiments.
