| 抄録(和) | 光ファイバ中のコア伝搬光をクラッド漏洩光に結合させたロスフィルタである長周期ファイバグレーティングは、EDFAの利得平坦化やセンサなどへの応用が期待されている。本稿では、その損失特性の張力依存性を、グレーティング周期の変化と屈折率の変化という2つの現象に分けて理論検討し、異なる2種類の構造のファイバにおける損失ピーク波長の張力依存性を計算から求め、さらに、実験により理論検討結果を裏付けたので、その結果を報告する。 |
| 抄録(英) | A long-period fiber grating is a loss filter utilizing mode coupling between core guiding mode and leaky cladding mode, and is expected as gain flattening filters for EDFAs, sensor applications, and so on. In this report, the effcts of tension on the transmission characteristics of long-period fiber grating are theoretically investigated, considering both the increase of grating period and the decrease of refractive index. In addition, tension dependence for two kinds of fiber are calculated, which is confirmed to be in good agreement with experimental results. |
