Abstract(in English) | The measurement or sensing methods using optical fiber are repoted. With optical sensor it is possible to measure remotely, to set probe flexibly, and to use in various circumstances. Up to now, various types of systems using fiber have been developed. Optical fiber is used as probe itself and/or light guide to bring measurement power to the measuring point. Temperature sensor and strain sensor using Raman and Brillouin scattering are described. Sensing technique using Fiber Bragg Grating is also described. The development result is explained about the trace gaseous sensor using fiber ring laser. |
