Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Statistical accident data of motor vehicle in Japan were analyzed in terms of the accident type, the vehicle you are driving, the vehicle of the other party and seat belt usage. By using these terms a detailed accident case can be specified. Regression model was built to evaluate driver's death rate and serious injury rate in each accident case. Quantification method was applied to get the degree of danger in accident type, vulnerability of the vehicle driving, aggressiveness of the other party's vehicle and seat belt effectiveness as regression coefficients.
