Abstract(in English) | A large number of processors and semiconductors are used for the automobiles. The automobiles have become a huge computer with system devices whose total bits are several hundreds. Competitiveness of businesses do not stay with the hardware anymore and values of knowledge would be obtained from the system-software engineering. Superiority in the services by developing the best application platforms and providing technologies and products maximizing the interoperability is the key to the success. Improvements of the safety and economy of vehicles and transportation systems are major subjects of ITS/ASV/KAREN/COMETA projects. A single vehicle as an object or agent and a variety of mobile objects, which belong to different classes, coexist in the traffic and transportation systems. Considerations on the applications of object-agent oriented software and behavior modeling languagse that are able to build "Virtual World" are described. |
