Non-Destructive Inspection of Structures Using Uncertain Non-Stationary Vibration

Abstract(in English) A method for estimating the vibrational characteristic of astructure from the response to non-stationary unknown forces such as winds and grand motions is described. Numerical experiments vaildated the accuracy and stability of the estimation up to the damping of 0.1. The computer model of a rock-fill dam was built to simulate structural changes due to earthquake levels and a new non-destructive inspection was conducted to detect the changes. Results are shown in Fig.3.
