Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CRASH SIMULATION by the finite element method are applied widely today in the car crash safety and machine drop impact, etc. Such kind of finite element method is based on the explicit scheme which is using the central difference time integration. With this method highly nonlinear problems, namely contact, material plasticity and large deformation, can be treated during the simulation. In this paper, one of most well known code RADIOSS will be introduced and some typical examples will be shown.
