Abstract(in English) | The future aircraft navigation system using Global Positioning System(GPS), together with augmentation has been discussed on International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO). Availability is the probability that the service will be available during the time which the system is to be used for navigation. Some calculation methods of availability intended to investigate augmentation system have been developed in recent years. This paper describes some calculation methods for availability. It also describes a fast calculation method using satellite rise and fall time, which has been proposed by us. |
