Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses a design of safety monitoring system that consists of sensors with gray zone signal as an output, which expresses no judgement for uncertainty situation. This sensor is expected to prevent model-induced failures which may be Induced by a lack of an alarm or by generating a false alarm by inadequate threshold of sensor. The problem is to determine the optimal judgement method for the gray zone. We pay attentions to automatic judgement and manual judgement and compare them. Lastly, we demonstrate that our model may be applicable to social problem of advanced age.
