Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose to make active networks secure by authenticating each data packet, and thus by controlling traffic with economic methods. The proposed authentication method uses packet-loss resistant one-time password system to avoid multiple communications between user terminals and routers. The address the packet's authentication data is stored can easily be calculated from the information contained in the packet, which enables us to authenticate with no database search. The amount of authentication data is around 30bytes, and signaling that distributes authentication data among routers is aggregated in core networks. These features enables fast and scalable authentication.
