Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report studies an application of a retransmission-based error recovery scheme for continuous media with multicast enhancement (MRVTR), which was previously proposed by the authors, to a middle-scale intranet environment. We assess its application-level QoS by simulation, in which sixteen terminals receive live media multicasting. Furthermore, we propose a retransmission scaling scheme in order to decrease the effect of retransmission traffic requested by other terminals on the QoS.
