Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P2P technologies are the candidates of the most attractive network services. In P2P systems, each network user(peer)can directly with each other. Because of Internet innovations, such as the cost cut of computing power, the improvement in network technologies, and the improvement in storage technologies, the P2P systems can exceed the conventional client-server systems. On the other hand, current P2P systems also have many problems to be solved, such as, DRM, security, and rapid increase of network bandwidth. The paper evaluates the network characteristics of current P2P systems and describes the proper network area of them.
