| Abstract(in English) | This paper takes a general view of the motivation for IP-VPN service, IP-VPN service offerings in Japan and network architecture and technologies for offering IP-VPN service and shows as follows: (1)Tne deployment of IP-VPN service promotes IT and contributes the efficient business activities. (2)IP-VPN is an integration of different existing technologies and new technologies. (3)The carriers will deploy new various additional Layer 3 services relating to IP-VPN service. The users will be able to focussing to develop and manage higher layer functions. |
