Abstract(in English) ″Seamless service″has been requested, by which keeps offering service in the progress of non-homogeneous environment such as fixation, the movement, cable, the wirelesses, and communications and broadcasting anytime and anywhere. In this paper, five requirements(location and mobility transparent, device transparent, situation-change tolerant, quality-degradation tolerant, and disconnect tolerant) are enumerated as a demand condition of seamless service. The importance of the resource to meet these requirements is pointed out, and the Resource-aware Seamless Service architecture which centers on the resource management is proposed. Moreover, the research topic for the construction of this architecture is described.
